Does Tripod Mode begin the process of drones replacing handheld gimbals? I personally think so. We have already captured some shots with a 45mm lens in tripod mode that would be easy to mistake as a gimbal shot. What do you guys think?

Beautifully shot and graded. Definitely looks like it replaces handheld gimbals in cases where it is feasible. (when you don't need to record sound and are clear to fly)

That's absolutely awesome! As for your question re: handheld gimbals: yes and no - for these epic, music-bed shots - definitely! For true replacement we'll have to wait for inaudible propulsion systems!

Love this!!! I would trade a gimbal for this set up any day! The shots from 1:15-1:25...spectacular!!! Did the drone/lens get soaked and was it totally fine ?
