Goats and sheep are truly built different when they can casually charge a motorcycle on front and not get injured

And now I wondered, "Why it's called head-butt?"

It's a sign of affection when cats do it.

I always thought headbutt means heading your head to a butt *BUT* it's just a goat risking there horns to break

As someone with a herd full of goats, goats LOVE to headbutt!! They play by jumping around and butting heads. The kids will gently headbutt each other and it’s so cute watching them learn how. Bucks will headbutt so hard it makes a VERY loud clacking noise. My two bucks both have horns over a ft long and you will often see them either fighting or sharpening their horns on an unsuspecting tree or cactus. It’s never a good idea to play headbutt with a goat as they can think that’s fine and become aggressive, but they will often try! It’s a cute thing to see that they think of you as a herd member and want to play, but they must be reminded to not play with humans using their horns!

Disbudded goats still headbutt. Although they tend to headbutt less and not show much aggression.
