The Institute of Internal Auditors SA has started its annual conference in Joburg, with discussions around the state of the industry, the impact of corruption and State Capture on the agenda.
The last few years have seen what could be called audit failures at important state-owned entities, and private companies.
Many of those had to do with the Guptas and State Capture.
