How do I disconnect them both from each other? Me and my flatmate tried it and now the two speakers are linked to his phone… when he turns his speaker off it turns off mine but when I turn mine back on it’s independent… if he turns his speaker on and I turn mine off and on again then it connects to his phone… please someone help!

So I have a T9 and a T9-2 speaker and I tried this, I heard the initial tone but not the confirmation tone & they are not pairing - I'm finding mixed information about pairing different models, but I assumed the fact they are both T9, they should pair together. Has anyone else tried this that could give me advice...it seems so simple, I wish it worked
