Nissan's going to look completely different by 2030. Here's their gameplan to change the company. The USA is finally getting the hybrid and EV technology its lineup has deserved.

Nissan targets additional 1-million-unit sales compared to fiscal year 2023 and operating profit margin of more than 6% by end of fiscal year 2026
30 new models to be launched by fiscal year 2026, of which 16 will be electrified
60% of internal combustion engine (ICE) passenger-vehicle models to be refreshed by fiscal year 2026
EV competitiveness to be enhanced by reducing cost of next-generation EVs by 30% and achieving EV and ICE vehicle cost parity by fiscal year 2030
Significant next-generation EV cost reduction to be achieved through grouped “family” development, with vehicle production under the approach starting in fiscal year 2027
Strategic partnerships expanded into technology, product portfolio and software services
Dividends and buybacks to target total shareholder return of more than 30%
New business ventures to unlock a potential 2.5 trillion yen in additional revenues by fiscal year 2030

I don’t care what anybody says. I love Nissans and only own Nissans.

Their current E-Power technology saves some MPGs overall, but not that many as their competitors do. However it is still a sweet system, makes the ride quieter and offers smoother acceleration than their petrol only powertrains. I’ve driven the E-Power X-Trail (Rogue in the US) quite a few times, and it’s peppy and extremely comfortable. Better than the Rav4 for sure (Rav4 hybrid offers better MPG numbers tho).

Nissan is probably the best Japanese automaker positioned to go more EV than others.

Been waiting on you to speak on this, but they didn't breakdown what cars were actually headed to Infiniti.

Nothing says excitement like a barrage of EV SUV crossovers. smh

Good to see some good news coming from Nissan. I've enjoyed the ones I've owned from the 240SX to the Frontiers.

This is a huge feat for Nissan and a big step forward. The last time we saw so many concepts was with Toyota and their electrified concepts. But this is the sort of revival Nissan needs. I hope e-Power comes as soon as they can because that’s the main thing. I’m super excited about the new Elgrand, Frontier EV, and the body on frame vehicles. Nissan sure got the hype up again. If all goes as planned, Nissan could be up there with Honda and Nissan in real consumer sales again.

Kirk… you need a Nissan person to help you out 😂😂😂 some of those guesses were way off. Lol. No way the Murano is going boxy and there have been spy pics of it. The car next to the Leaf is the Juke. The small mini one is the Micra.

I’m guessing the EV Maxima and Skyline will be very close in relation going forward. This would explain the two similarly shaped sedans. The Maxima name has way more brand recognition in the US with the general public than the Skyline name (mostly popular only with enthusiasts in the US).

2:00 the car with circular headlights seems like The Figaro, it would be nice if they bring that classic car

I remember being in Tokyo in 2017 and visiting the Nissan Global Headquarters in Yokohama. They had a show room which included a JDM Rogue Hybrid. I remember driving a US version as a rental car a few weeks before. Weird anecdote; it had seat heaters for the rear seats but the switch was down by the front gear selector. Either both rear passengers get heat, or no one does!
