In his address, he urged all 368 Synod participants to "turn their gaze to the world," acknowledging the ongoing devastation caused by war and violence. The Pope invited all to join him on Sunday for the recitation of the holy rosary at the Basilica, followed by a global day of prayer and fasting for peace on October 7th.
