Hustler Raptor 42”/ Kohler 7000 Oil Change

Here’s how to change the oil on the 42” Raptor. Oil capacity is exactly 2 quarts when you do a complete change (including filter). To release the oil, you will need a 10mm wrench.

Changed oil on my motorcycles many times...never poured oil into the filter, but yes on putting oil on o-ring.
This was still a very helpful video. I didn't even see that oil drain pipe until I watched this

Hi, I recently got a Hustler zero turn mower and I have that same gold drain plug as yours except it doesn't have the fitting that I can attach a drain hose to. I wanted to know did yours come like that or did you have to buy that part? Thanks

What kind of drain plug is that??? I have something similar but it's mostly plastic, I can see it cracking after several years.

I see one for sale that looks just like yours, but it says 2021 and I don't believe it.

Great video man, got a question my friend and I can't find a definite answer. I have the same Kohler engine. Can you please tell me the size of that drain hose you used? There are several different models for Kohler and I can't get an answer as to what size that dang drain hose is. I'm trying to buy a generic brand on Amazon, could you just tell me the diameter of that dang hose please. Thank you 👍
