The Year Serena Went UNDEFEATED On Clay | 2013 Peak Serena

The 31 match winning streak of Serena Williams on Clay in 2013 including her 4 tournament victories in Charleston, Madrid, Rome and the French Open (Roland Garros).

This was the first time she won RG in 11 years since 2002, as it was extra special given that she had lost in the first round of a slam for the first time the year before at the 2012 French Open.

Chris Evert saying Serena is at the end of her career in 2013 gave me a laugh. Nobody could have predicted she would still be competing at age 40. She truly is the GOAT

The toughest opponent Serena has to worry about is herself. When she's calm and focused, no other woman can touch her. When her emotions and drama is created, then she can have a horrid time. This clay achievement was a wake up call. She is the GOAT!

The Queen of tennis! She was on a rampage in 2013! No one was safe and only lost 4 matches that entire year

This vid is AMAZING! Far too often, the nuances of Serena (and Venus)'s games aren't given the credit they deserve. Serena has always been terrific at net, which is why she and Venus have won so many Doubles Grand Slams (and Olympic Gold medals). She transitions wonderfully on Clay, as her mobility in sliding seems so fluid and natural. Not to mention that she was 31 during this run, an age where alot of tennis greats are either already retired or nearing it. She was hitting another PEAK LEVEL of performance

Serena is a legend. No other player has achieved as she did. It is so nice to watch her.

I love this and her 2015 title at French Open was even more thrilling because she was sick and still won. In her worst Grand Slam Serena is three-time Champion and in her worst surface Serena won all torunaments in a single season. Legend!!!

That third set vs Kuznetsova, I swear Serena started playing like a mad woman, whew!! She pulled that hair up and everything. It’s crazy scary how well Serena could just elevate her game when her back was against the wall!

Lies! Lies! Lies! Margaret Court only has 11 grand slams in the "Open Era"! Note! When they give statistics in Men's tennis, they never, ever mix Open Era and Closed Era!!! All white tennis just can't celebrate a Black person, in this case, Black Women as the best of all time! #SerenaG.O.A.T.

This video is incorrect at 1:00. Serena won FIVE clay tournaments in 2013 including French Open: Charleston, Madrid, Rome, Roland Garros, then Bastad (with the loss to Lisicki, on grass, the only disruption in that winning streak). No male or female player (besides Serena) has ever won FIVE clay titles in one calendar year while simultaneously going undefeated on clay. And yet people act like clay is Serena’s weakness lol. Even Nadal hasn’t done what she did in that sense.

I never felt sorry for any of Serenas opponents, but Errani was on the wrong side of every stat in that semi final
