Slowly but surely, Breeze Airways is working towards becoming one of the best airlines in the US. They’ve still got a ways to go yet, but with the addition of the A220-300 to their fleet, things are looking up.

These airplanes feature a premium seating option which they call the “Nicest” seats. They aren’t kidding. They are pretty nice.

This is a full review of Breeze Airways flight number 116 from Richmond, VA to San Francisco, CA. Total flying time was 5 hours and 15 minutes, I had seat number 5F (one of them fancy “Nicest” seats), and the aircraft registration was N206BZ.

One thing that I didn’t hear mentioned was the nicest seat also comes with 2 free checked bags, a free carry on bag, and a personal bag. That alone is around $120 in savings (give or take depending on flight route) so it definitely seems worth it to me. Hoping to try it out next year and look forward to the next video

I work for Breeze as a flight attendant. They do plan to bring meals for the longer flights. the Chex mix you ate is usually sold to passengers and not given.

I work for Airbus and delivery all the a220s for breeze, delta, and jet blue. Been apart of every single aircraft made lol

I agree that Breeze has a very unique, striking livery, and the A220 is already a good looking airplane. I got some great shots of this very aircraft, N206BZ, as she was landing at SDF not too long ago

I love Breeze Airlines. They had trainees on my flight and they were amazing. They were kind and jovial with each other. The flight was the smoothest ever. I treated myself to an upgrade in the nicest seats because I’m an old and portly gal!! Sooo comfortable!! Loved the tray tables for my phone and snacks. I flew from RIC to SF and we were there in just under 5 hours. I fly frequently to San Francisco and that was my most comfortable flight yet. Didn’t really care about having a meal. My guess is that this is a new airline that is evolving as much as time allows. Highly recommended!!❤

We have been watching Scott for last 2-3 years. He has inspired us to take so many of these routes on new and interesting airlines! THANKS SCOTT for all the insights, jokes and crazy cool videos

So nice to see this video. I live about 45-60 minutes from RIC, so nice to see some local options.

Completely agree that a meal offering, even for a cost, should be offered on such a long flight. The seats look very, for lack of a better term, nice. Gotta love the A220

It’s an honor to have you onboard our flagship! Thank you for your time and service.

Your videos are amazing. Breeze Airways is planning on bringing hot food onboard with their onboard ovens they have installed.

I was one of the working FAs on that flight😊
Glad you enjoyed it.

I've heard Breeze is discussing real food options and ovens in the A220. However you mentioned it in your review, you paid an AMAZING price for a transcon, premium seat. With that amazing price, there may be a subtraction or two, including hot food. In addition, it adds to the workload of a Flight Attendant and weight of an airplane. I bet they will want to work out all the kinks like you mentioned before they start any additional service. Great video. I've wanted to fly the A220 for a long time and hopefully I will get a chance soon.

Nice to see Richmond’s airport featured; I flew in and out of there a few years ago and was pleasantly surprised.

I swear I’m not on the chamber of commerce, but Richmond is a great place to visit. Definitely check it out.

Another great video Scott. I'm hoping to take Breeze next year from White Plains to LAX, so this was useful!

Thanks for this informative posting. We are planning a trip on this carrier in May, from So. Cal. to Northern KY/Cincinnati . Unfortunately they will be flying their smaller Embraer jet for that route, but we have booked their "Nicest" seating. We have our fingers crossed!

I recently flew from Nashville to Hartford on Breeze. They have some of the most enthusiastic flight attendants I’ve met and I loved the conversations! I was lucky enough to see two on both flights! Hi A, if you see this!

Unfortunately, Breeze ordered the A220 without lavatory windows, so no loo with a view.

Just two days ago I flew with breeze from Norfolk intl to Akron-Canton on a E190. It was a nice flight, the seats were pretty comfortable and had nice leg room. I'm going to fly back to Norfolk in a few days. So far, Breeze is a pretty good airline, especially for it being so new.

We did RIC-PHX in May of 2024. We also did the “Nicest” seats and they were very comfortable. They apparently fixed the food situation, offering paid options. I would definitely fly Breeze again.
