TAMMY WAS PLAYING THE ROLE OF A 17 YEAR OLD GIRL IN THIS 1957 FILM, "TAMMY AND THE BACHELOR." SHE LOOKED THE PART, BUT SHE WAS ACTUALLY 25 YEARS OLD, AND PREGNANT WITH DAUGHTER CARRIE FISHER DURING THE FILMING. LESLIE NIELSON WAS 31 AT THE TIME, AND HE APPEARED TO ME TO BE REALISTICALLY TO OLD LOOKING FOR THE PART, AND DEBBIE LOOKED TO BE TOO YOUNG.

The one that became a number one hit single for Debbie Reynolds in 1957 is heard midway through the film, and was a UK No. 2 hit single in the same year.
