As an Afghan and living in India i can understand your concern and its pretty much real. The Afghan food is more on the sweeter side and use of oil is heavy which makes it too much oily. It goes perfect for Afghans, Syrians, Turkish and Iranian people but it doesn't suits to our Indian brothers. We are habitual of using and consuming too much oil which is not healthy but Afghani stew is great. You can try that with Afghani khameeri roti. You can add spice into it

My dear.. Afghanis usually eat sweeter food they use dry fruits alot.. They also add alot of carrots into their pollow.. Im Pakistani and i have so many afghani frnds and i have eaten some of the authentic afghani foods.. That roll is actually called afghani burger which is sweeter in taste

As a Pakistani I love afgani food.. Afghani pulao ( kabuli pulao) is just love..we have a lot of Afghani restaurants here. And I love the sweet texture, that's actually their style of cooking. ❤
