When I first went down to the surface, I found a rock that fell from the sky, so I used recall to get up and try to land on an island. The only problem was that I forgot I didn't even have the paraglider yet, so I just saw Link fall to his death for like 20 seconds lmao

When I unlocked the first tower with Purah, after being propelled into the sky by the tower, I immediately opened the paraglider to admire the landscape. I forgot I was using stamina and ran out of it very high in the sky. I imagine Purah just watched in desbelief how Link met his doom after being yeeted into the sky by he tower she helped build.

Getting the sky diving Armor was awesome for exploration but when I upgraded the last piece to rank two and saw that the bonus was impact immunity… it immediately became one of my most favorite sets in the game. Just diving off the highest point and rocketing towards earth like a cruise missile just to land directly on your feet within a fraction of a second is so funny.

When they said "just land in water, you'll be fine, " I was like "oh, cool, yeah, " because I had been playing Minecraft for a while, so after feeling super cool and epic jumping off the island to finally see the real world, I immediately slammed my face into a puddle at mach 5 and died. 😆

I love using the skydiving set because when you get all the pieces up to at least rank 2, it negates all fall damage, so I can just smash headfirst onto the bottom depths after falling for the past 20 seconds from one of the sky islands and link just walks off like nothing happened lmao

I got shocked the first time it happened.
Link looks down from a high cliff, doesn't see where it ends, and just jumps. I was convinced he understood the rewind mechanic lore-wise and didn't bother to keep himself alive anymore and just jumped to his death.
And then it shows the smallest of ponds right at the end, which he hits the water like a freaking meteor and is just fine.
