The Qatar world Cupy is getting a lot of negative press. But if you're on social media, we get a totally different picture. It's definitely worth sharing I think.

Pretty sure that dude had more fun with those brothers and the lion than sitting at a hotel with his friends drinking beers.

The world cup is an eye opening experience for any Muslims who still think we can ally with the Mushrikeen.

It proves that if you don't fully throw your religion under the bus then they drop their facade of tolerance.

Never, ever, compromise your Deen for worldly gain/acceptance.

People going to an Islamic country dressed as crusaders and still being respected is mind blowing. Imagine if it was the other way around and someone went to the UK, France or USA wearing traditional Muslim abaya and turban holding a flag with the crescent they would be harassed, beaten up and taken to jail for being a terrorist.

Ig this is the best world cup to ever exist imo, the variety, the cultural mixing of religion and beliefs on the field, and the vibes, etc.. It just feels much more fresh than the past world cup events that were average. W Qatar

Akhi, it’s about hospitality. They consider these people guests, therefore they treat them as such. It’s not strange, especially for Arabs in gulf specifically.

They were talking about Saudis human rights. As a Muslim academic, I'm seriously concerned about Saudis human rights on Lionel Messi and Argentina, and how they've just destroyed them

Turns out, being sober is the best thing that happens to them.

Even if we all don’t agree with each other we came back to the idea of “football is a sport not a political tool and it joins us all” but its a win for all of us muslims.
