Yes, you can paint over hard gel nail with nail lacquer. You can remove the nail polish with a non-acetone polish remover so that it does not deteriorate the hard gel. Depending on what you prefer, you can ask your manicurist for soak-off gels or hard gels, which will need to be filed off.

I've been using Harmony Foundation, Structure Gel, Gelish polish, top coat. Can I do the same thing only replace the structure gel with the hard gel?
