There is a video on Lucy's Instagram where Louise is driving Lucy to an interview and the two of them are singing, and Lucy recorded in on her cell phone, and let me tell you Louise can belt em out with Lucy!!!! They were singing the Climb and Never and Louise here in SMILE was very reserved, a great mom, letting her girls have the attention, not trying to over sing them !! What a mom !!! Thanks for the react, yes this song is STUNNING !!!! Can you imagine what it sounds like around the Thomas house ????

You are correct. Charlie Chaplin wrote the music as the theme for his 1936 film modern times. Later in 1954, John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons added the lyrics and song title. they said their lyrics were inspired by the movie.
