How to Convert Text to Date using DATEVALUE function in Excel - Office 365

You can convert text to date if the text is in a valid Excel date format using DATEVALUE function. This function converts the text in date format to the date's serial number, once converted you can use this cell in any date calculations like adding days or subtracting days etc.
