Join us for a week of outings, games, and fun activities combined with a yoga vacation for families and individuals. We will visit historical places in the Bahamas and, weather permitting, go on a snorkeling trip (some of the trips might incur additional costs). Special family yoga classes will be added to the ashram's standard schedule. Come and enjoy the beauty and rich heritage of Nassau!

Arjuna is a direct disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda and the director of the Sivananda-affiliated Yoga Center in Gatineau, Quebec. He has been a professional vegetarian cook for 25 years and has been teaching family yoga programs in Sivananda centers and ashrams for many years. Arjuna's approach is dynamic, personal, and inspiring, and includes many instructive stories from his time spent with Swami Vishnudevananda.

The Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat provides an immersion experience into the daily practices of a yogic lifestyle. A spiritual sanctuary nestled in the beautiful Bahamas, the we offer yoga teachings derived from the deeply-rooted traditions of a renowned yoga lineage. The purpose of these spiritual practices is to help people of all cultures and backgrounds develop inner peace for a more harmonious world.

Established by Swami Vishnudevananda in the name of Master Swami Sivananda, our yoga retreat is a safe and supportive environment for deep and profound learning and inner healing. It presents a balanced approach to yogic living and spiritual study. The daily schedule includes meditation, pranayama (breathing practices), asana (yoga postures), balanced vegetarian diet, and satsang (spiritual discourse).

We offer Yoga Teacher Training Courses and Advanced Yoga Teacher Training Courses throughout the year, as well as many other certification courses, experiential programs, and yoga vacation options.
