Acer Nitro 5 - No power, board diagnose & repair - Missing 5 Volts can mess up your main power rail

this kind of fault banged my head once, actually there is a driver chip that drives the vrms for the CPU and that chip is powered by 5v, if that voltage is missing the laptop behaves like a dead log.in my case that chip was RT3602AE and it was missing 5V because the 5v power supply chip was faulty

No capacitor, No shorted capacitor, the real Sorin is back, there was another video with a fake Sorin who replaced a capacitor on a Macbook 😂

Laptop companies now adding 4 extra capacitors because they know Sorin will eventually make one disappear.

18:45 I think the SSD is fine, the Laptop supposed to boot in Legacy Boot Mode instead of UEFI Mode.
The customer tried the Bios options thinking at first it was a Software issue I would say.

Sorin, not replacing the capacitor is really bad. Because at this location it is needed for stabilizing the output voltage. The designer calculated the total capacity needed when he designed the board. Now the remaining capacitors have to bear more of the spikes and declines in power as planned. Not good. 😢
