Digital Painting Study – Cleopatra – Timelapse

Digital painting study of "Cleopatra" by John William Waterhouse (1888). I usually paint in black and white first and then add colors later. In this I go straight to color mode. I never once color pick from the reference painting and I'll try to find the colors with my own eye. It's a great practice! Total time was around 2 hours. Made in Photoshop.
