When I was younger (I was in High School), I wanted bangs (It was trendy, all girls in my school had bangs) ... So of course I cut it myself .... It was a disaster that I wore a hat during 4/5 months .... Two years later, I tried again to cut my own bangs ... same disaster haha ! I learn that it's better to let a hair dresser do it ... or just don't cut haha

This made me laugh. I went to a hairdresser when I still wore glasses - and specifically asked to keep my fringe at the level of the top of my glasses, "otherwise I'd look ridiculous". What did she do? Made me look ridiculous the day before an important photo appointment for my place of work. lol

I despise these “tricks” like using a rubber band and like flipping your hair a way to cut another way. Like no just cut it. When you cut it your self dry and normal set. Ive been cutting my own bangs since 15 and whole head for about a year and a half now. All the tricks do is make it harder to see how the end product will look. Just cut it lol.

As a lover of baby bangs, my advice to everyone that cuts their bangs too short is to just say you did it on purpose and rock that look. Baby bangs are fun and interesting and immediately make you look about 45% cooler. There are no mistakes. Only happy accidents.
