Self esteem in children comes from the father in the home. The father has to be emotionally available not just physically in the home.

I have to call out PBD on this one. While I agree on the importance of fathers, he also has men on his show like Rollo Tomassi who encourages promiscuity in men. This promiscuity in society is a big reason for fatherless homes, yet he said nothing when Tomassi was on his show and said men need to have their " fun "in their youth so they don't have a mid life crisis later on. From what I have seen he seems to think women having casual sex is bad but it's perfectly fine for men. You see this a lot in the manosphere, they say society is being ruined by women having premarital sex but then encourage men to go get those high body counts. I don't like the hypocrisy.
