US-China competition: Biden’s aides warn Congress on budget cuts

Three of the top United States cabinet secretaries have testified before Congress in a rare joint appearance on the perceived threat from China.

They have warned that proposed budget cuts would seriously undermine Washington's ability to compete with the Asian power.

investing in public infrastructure is key to Americas survival, free healthcare, free higher education, and better public transport in cities. it's sad most American cities which are typically 2 hours away by train in Europe and most of Asia are only accessible by car or flight which is dumb. Plus, America must invest in rail transport not just for freight.
