Thanks for this video. Like other commenters, I am not a huge fan of having to buy multiple expansions. I think this one will wait a bit. My shopping list is long after the Top 10 Solo Automas, BYOS and Uwe videos. Thanks again for great content.

Interesting review, thanks!

As opposed to others here, I am not against buying a 'complete edition' or 'big box' to make a game good (or, in this case, better and meatier). I'm going to pass on this, because I like games to either be light(ish) and quick, or heavy and long (90-120+ minutes). This falls in the middle ground to me and I don't tend to generally play those very often and for this price tag, it's just not worth it when there are so many other good games out there. Glad you are enjoying it and I hope you have fun with it in the future!

I've only played Everdell once, but would love to play it more. But I don't own the game. So, in order for me to play the game solo I would have to buy Everdell + Mistwood and it's exactly like you said: It's a huge amount of money. I would have to play it a lot, 'cause otherwise it's not really worth it. Nah.. I can't do it, although I really fell in love with the artwork and the mechanics.

I got the complete Collection even though I hadn't played the game before and I'm pretty happy with it.
Ich haven't tried the night weave solo mode yet but the one thing that disappointed me was that you can't use the trait or plot cards when playing with other expansions. Because when I play it, I play whit expansions.

I just traded away my copy of Everdell and I'm happy about it. My problem wasn't so much about buying the expansions to make it better, but the $$$ of the expansions. I can pre-order the two new expansions from my flags for $60 CAD each, with Belfaire another $37 CAD; total $157 CAD! Too expensive for what they offer

Yeah I'll skip this one for the same reason I have skipped Root. Buying multiple expansions just to make the game meaty enough and worth it? Not worth it in my eyes.
