Who Could It Be Besides Me! Hello everyone and welcome to my fall essentials list. It involves the best fall boots, the best fall jackets, the best fall sweaters, and the best attempt at my trying to do some solid keywords in the description. Anyways, this is my list of my favorite fall clothes, I was thinking of doing a vintage fall thrift video? Would that be fun? Anyone interested? Bueller?

10:44: "Chamois" is "sham-wah" - I'm a big fan of LL Bean flannels as well, though, especially their heritage line. I got one last year and it's a reproduction from a flannel they sold in 1933. Love that little history

I don't know if you still read the comments on these older videos but if you're still on the lookout for some weatherproof boots in that kind of style and are willing to take a chance on something european as opposed to your usual american made stuff, I can recommend the Original Haferl "Artur" boot, it is a true norwegian storm welt (unlike the red wings' fake one) which makes them very water resistance. I don't know to what point I'd count them as waterproof or if they even advertise them as such but I wear them a lot, also while hiking in poor conditions and have never had any water leak through. They are certainly on the pricier side but you don't seem to be a stranger to spending a little more on high quality heritage style footwear.

Shirt jackets are great down here in the south. Its rare a winter coat is needed, so it’s a great option on the many 50-60 degree days

Sweater game is on point right here. I agree LL Bean cotton sweaters are great for transition weather and I'm jelly of the RRL flag sweater.

Try and get your hands on a 90s/early 00s Orvis jumper, they are all wool with a super tight weave and the collar and cuffs hold their shape super well

For the LL Bean flannel, americans typically pronounce is as sha-mee, whereas the acadian/maine pronunciation of the flannel is sha-muwah

I went for the Beaufort rather than the Bedale, and I'm obsessed with the game pocket at the back. Or more accurately, the tote bag, book and iPad pocket. so handy and it's like a nice little secret that I can keep those things while cycling without a rucksack!
