All the CBS O&Os are doing this from WCBS in NY, KCNC in Denver, WFORto KPIX in SF. Also gone is the "Enforcer" news music for a variation of the "CBS Tones" -- like how all NBC stations use the "NBC tri-tones" in their news music packages.
Also KCAL as call letters are more "SoCal" than KCBS and it appears they're not using them now for branding. (Unless they revert back to KNX or KHJ) . Also remember, everyone sees this on Paramount+, Pluto, and other streaming services around the world so the channel digit isn't really relevant anymore.

Attention KCAL NEWS: I've never been to California not once. Always wanted to go but it's very sad of what's going on with missing hikers especially Julian Sands. My heart goes out to the family and people who know him. I've been following the story about this missing hiker and I'll just wanted to bring out to your attention as well as to the deputy who's handling the case to let all of you know that I had more than one a vision. I know it sounds crazy what I'm about to say, but our Lord Jesus in heaven knows that I'm a good person down to earth. Always trying to help everybody, trying to look out for others, especially in a time like this with missing hikers, especially with Julian's Sands. Anyway, Jesus Lord has given me a gift and the gift is to locate missing people. Things like that and I had more than one vision of this missing hiker and I can tell you one thing they need to check the location by Cedar Glenn the campgrounds near the creek. I keep on seeing images of a man that has a long beard, he's sitting down and I could see that he is suffering from his shoulder and his right leg. He seems like he's alive but suffering .They need to check those areas. A matter fact, I'm sure they have satellite that they can browse through to be able to see if he's around the area.. anyway, I never met Julian Sands in my life but he's one of my favorite actors and I am doing my best to see that this man gets to be located and be with his family.
