Of course, if you stack multiple photos, Photoshop will remove people automatically with the median function because the people are in different positions in each photo etc.

I think It's faster with better results to take several pictures at different intervals and stacked them using the median mode. In that you use the real image behind the turists.

This is interesting from a learning point of view, the use of the different tools but the cloning work on the water leaves a few spots that need more repair. I also miss Aaron's voice, it's synonymous with Phlearn
Rule one with cloning - if you can still see where the cloning has been done then so can someone else.

I would use tripod, take multiple photos. Layer them to combine areas what are clear. Other way is to try long exposure, when people move they blur. Anyhow best tool is AI that heal image automagic.

or simply use 15-20 stops ND filter and do a 30 minutes/1 hour exposure whilst having a drink and admiring the scenery

Something like this looks easy to get rid of people standing in front of that object in the background because there's a structural pattern to that object behind the people. How do you get rid of people standing in front of a structure with no discernible pattern such as maybe a computer screen, window blinds, etc. in the background?
