Walibi Belgium Walking Tour & Kondaa Off-ride - The Day Before the European Floods Closure

I was very lucky to visit the park on 14 July 2021. The next day, Walibi Belgium was met with heavy rainfall that forced the management to evacuate guests from the park. On 16 July, Walibi Belgium announced its closure due to the heavy rainfall that eventually led to the 2021 European Floods.

I went to Belgium to conquer one single roller coaster: the newly opened KONDAA at Walibi Belgium. This Intamin megacoaster opened in May 2021 to rave reviews, particularly for its airtime.

Throughout the day, the weather was indeed gloomy. But the rain didn't reach a point that I'd consider "bad" or "horrible" per say. It was, however, enough to keep me feeling soggy the whole day. The rain even penetrated my boots and made my socks wet.

This is Walibi Belgium on 14 July 2021, the day before the park closed down.

Walibi Belgium will reopen for Halloween on 2 October 2021.
