👉 This is the recipe for this steamed bun
🌻Ingredients
1g instant dry yeast
8g sugar
46-50g cold water or 50-60g milk or 45-50g carrot juice
100g all-purpose flour
4g (1 teaspoon) vegetable oil
a little orange food coloring
a little green food coloring

🌻Steps
🌼Make the yeast mixture: Put 1g instant dry yeast, 8g sugar, and 46-50g water in a bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves.
🌼Make the basic dough: Put 100g all-purpose flour in a bowl, add the yeast mixture and stir them to form a shaggy dough, add 4g (1 teaspoon) vegetable oil, and then knead it into a smooth dough. Set aside.
🌼Make the dough for the taproot: Take 90g the basic dough, add a little orange food coloring, and knead until the color is even, divide it into 2 equal pieces. Set aside.
🌼Make the dough for the leaves: Take 18g the basic dough, add a little green food coloring, and knead until the color is even, divide it into 6 equal pieces. Set aside.
🌼Shape according to the method in the video.
🌼Let the shaped buns rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
🌼Put at least 1 inch of water in the bottom of a steamer pot, bring to a boil. Lay the buns on the steamer pot's rack and cover. Steam for 10 minutes over medium heat, and rest for 3 minutes before opening the lid.
😋Remove the steamed buns and serve immediately.

💡 Tip
If you don’t have a steamer pot, use a wok with a lid and a makeshift rack instead. Make sure the makeshift rack is about an inch above the boiling water.
