My English teacher briefly told us a little bit about her my Junior year. I enjoyed "A Raisin in the Sun". She was an inspiration for many cultures.

She was a middleclass intellectual who could articulate herself so well in the postwar struggle for equal rights.

I’ve only just heard her story but knew of her works a little. I didn’t know she died so young which is very sad.
