"We wanted to make a song na ipapakita yung unconditional love na ‘di lamang expressed as love na pang mag-jowa or nagliligawan. We wanted to showcase all forms of love in this song. Love that sees no borders; an all-out love that is offered freely without expecting for something in return, and what more could be a greater example for a love like this ‘diba, than a parental love. Lalo na while writing the lyrics iniisip namin kung ano kaya feeling ng magulang, sa unang beses niyang masilayan yung magiging kauna-unahang magiging anak niya - moment na sobrang surreal and we wanted to encapsulate that specific moment into this song. Kumbaga a parent’s message to their first born in that very moment ng una nilang pagkikita. Pero syempre, open for all interpretations yung message ng song, pwedeng i-dedicate sa kahit kaninong mahal mo.”

My sister got into an accident last July and she was in a critical condition— she was in a state of coma for three weeks. Doctors were saying na her chance of surviving is really low and we should ready ourselves. Ngayon, she did it. She's alive and fighting. Though, she's not back to normal, she can't speak, she can't see, she can't hear, or even acknowledge us. Pero we're more than happy kasi she survived, that even doctors were calling it a miracle. This song made me realize na having your loved ones being alive and well with you, and being able to feel them, and make me feel you is a privilege. Yun lang naman dalangin namin, mabuhay sya at makasama namin sya sa mga susunod pang taon. Ngayon, yung dalangin ko, ng magulang ko, ng magulang ko, pakiramdam namin nasagot. This song made me remember the bliss of hearing na hindi na sya critical, of hearing na she's recovering, the bliss of hearing na she just had her second life


Kaya to everyone, make sure that you make you loved ones loved while they're still there, and while they can still feel.
