Heres the problem with what Jon is saying. The phone isn't gonna be for us geeks and techy people its going to be for the everyday consumer to give them a streamlined facebook experience on a mobile device without having to deal with extra stuff that comes with iOS and Android.

You were spot on Jon. They released a facebook skin/launcher for android phones. You are really good at this. You should work in a phone company.

There's an article on The Verge, "The Facebook phone is coming, and it's already in your pocket, " which says that odds are, the new feature will be a launcher, and that the HTC phone may just be a phone with the launcher preloaded

I already have a "facebook phone." My Windows Phone. It's integrated into the People hub with your contacts, but you do not have to sync your facebook account onto your phone.

If that's how you feel about phones (facebook phone, twitter phone, etc.), how do you feel about Chromebooks? It's essentially a desktop limited to only Chrome (and the apps for it).

The only thing they could do to make a Facebook phone appealing to people is by making it really cheap. It can't just be cheap on-contract, it has to be cheap for an unlocked model so that anyone could just buy it and use it on prepaid.

If you have a phone focused on one thing rather than doing multiple unnecessary things than it theoretically the phone should run efficiently and easily
