How does fog form in the desert?

The UAE sees some incredible fog. Out of 365 days in a year, the UAE averages 132 foggy nights. The season usually starts in mid-December, and lasts until the end of March. But the UAE is a desert country - so why is there so much fog? We're here to explain.
