Never trust your safety to a proximity volt tester; always use a multimeter rated for the voltage you are working on. Strippers are dependent on the work needed. The driver set is on the spot, Kleil/Weria/Milwaukie, etc., are excellent insulated tools, but you will still need standard non-insulated drivers for some work. Needle nose plyers are mostly all the same, I suggest an insulated pair if you're only getting one and using it on electrical work. Electrical tape is a safety or bandaid, never to be used for insulation or in place of wire nuts or press fittings. Just because it says insulation-rated doesn't mean you should use it as an insulator. A bag is a bag; get your tools, do some work, and see what others are using. An essential bag with pockets is all you need; overalls with a bib and hip pocket can take care of most of your storage needs while;e DIY'n.
