What Now? EMBRACER STOCK Full Earnings Discussion!

#Embracer Q3 Earnings for FY 23/24 came out last week. Overall the numbers were not that bad, especially considering that there was no major release during the reporting period.

The restructuring program and debt reduction is the big project for now. Lars Wingeforst, CEO, really needs to step up. His vibes are okay, since he claims to do everyhting to create shareholder value. However, I like to note, happy players equals also shareholder value. It is a simple calculation, but mostly works out.

Therefore, make the players happy as well. Embracer still has some upcoming games that could push them back into profitability, or at least on the right path. I have high hopes on Space Marines II (Saber) and of course a need Tomb Raider title.

The chart has max negativity, but more is still possible, especially since JPM for example downgraded the share price of Embracer.

Let's put it like this. If they do not manage to get through the next 1-2 years, mostly all your investment is lost. If they manage to rebuild itself and become more humble in acquisitions, in a context of lower interest rates, less inflation and overall better macro-economic circumstances, then, yes, only then I see huge opportunities.

This leads to the fact that investing in a fallen company is a huge speculation with max risks. It is not just a given fact that a company survives. Every company can cease to exist within short time and then you are trapped in the stock. Therefore, really guys, invest small amounts, diversify.

Embracer will come back - not only because I have plenty of shares. The management is good and the Investment in new games will pay off!
Crises plus the last minute cancellation put EG in a very difficult situation - they need time to manage this.
If they not get broke - which they won‘t from my POV. They will come back very successfull. Keep in mind, a restructuring program is always a big chance to create provitability and success!
It just will take some time… and valuation is a joke nowadays
