Behind The Scenes At Cervelo | HQ Tour

We traveled to Cervelo’s headquarters in Aliso Viejo to see everything that’s going on with their product line and spend some more time with the people that make the wheels turn. Cervelo is truly at the front of the pack in many ways in the cycling industry. They make eye-catching bikes that win races, and they have a well-rounded lineup that even includes gravel and mountain bikes.

Gearheads Ian and Jono get the inside scoop from the Director of Sales, Hal Walters, and get into the nuts and bolts with an engineer and a product manager. After lots of nerding out over aerodynamics and tube shaping, the group heads out on a ride to test out a Caledonia.

Do you own a Cervelo? Which model are you keen to swing a leg over? Let us know in the comments!

Always loved Cervelos. My 2011 R3 is my favorite bike ever. 39, 000 miles and counting.😊

I'm disappointed they no longer have a presence in Canada. Understandable moving from Toronto to a place where they can bike 365, but still sad they're gone. Still loving my 2012 R5 VWD ❤🇨🇦

I too own the 2014 R3 and man that’s a super smooth riding bike!!! I love it and rode it on my MS 150 rides for 5 years straight along with other training rides, coffee rides, and other charity rides as well. I’ve got Roval wheels and conti 5000 28 c tires on it and man I can fly on this bike!!!! One speed only and that is fast!!! Great for hill climbs and descents

They have a Super Star team riding the brand currently. It looks like a repat Tour de France win coming in 2023.

You could have asked why almost no Cervelo bikes are available at the moment. I've been waiting for my P5 for months, my dealer can't tell me when the bike will arrive because Cervelo doesn't know. All other manufacturers up until now have had much better communication than Cervelo towards the customer. We don't know when or what will be available. Ordered in 2022 and still waiting without any information? Good job Cervelo, as a premium brand, we customers expect more..

I’ve had my Caledonia since the day it was released, and besides color, I wouldn’t change a darn thing about it. Now, I’m selling both my TT bikes and debating between a Cervelo P5 and Trek SC SLR7. The P5 is outdated in the integration department. I hope they fix all this really soon.

Rebuild the Soloist Carbon 2006 super light and plenty stiff after 16 years. With rim brake that never rub.

Did Cervelo succeed in making a round hole between two tolerance limits?

Waiting for new Caledonia with T47, 36mm tyre clearance and maybe better cable integration.

just bought a Soloist in gold dust. now I will be a winner like Jonas Vingegaard....sort of kidding but truly when you analyze the specs and geometry compared to Cannondale S6EVO, Specialized Tarma SL7/8, Giant TCR Adv, and even Van Rysel ECR ect...the Soloist frame is a perfect form. Reach is not too fa, stack is just so low.. The rest of specs better than base level Shimano 105 ( $3500) is a matter of what you can afford, eg carbon wheel rims, electronic group set.

Has anyone tried to get support form this company? I have called and sent messages via their website, and I have never been responded to. Dealers throughout the country don't seem to have stock of a 2015 S3. I have been trying to BUY a new front fork for 6 months, and no one will call me back.

Skip these bikes.... the company doesn't support the customer and maintain spare parts.

What does the branding on Cervelo bikes mean ? For example on the fork tube, some Cervelo show the iconic “ć” symbol, while others display the word “Cervelo” vertically. I have a R5 with the later brand “Cervelo” imprinted on the fork tube.

1997, not 1993 for the founding, fyi.

As a multiple Cervelo bike owner, hoping the company will decide to invest in some customer service instead of maintaining a customer firewall. Never will buy another Cervelo.
