I am 37 years old, third generation Adventist, son of a missionary, and I’ve always wondered how eating a fruit could result in 6000 years of absolute misery. This helped me start to understand the mechanism better thank you.

The gospel is the good news that God is actually good. He is not what Satan implied.

Wow! Amazing! Jesus, thank you for emptying Yourself so that our cups may overflow with YOUR love, grace and compassion. Jesus, you are KING OF KINGS and LORD OF ALL. We love YOU, Jesus.

42:48. I like how they put it: "We don't flee from who God is, but from who God isn't..." We tend to flee not from the true God, but from a false image we have of who God appears to be, but isn't...

Inspiring discussion. The thought that was triggered for me was that the great controversy and the good news are not about power. The connotation of warfare is that it involves comparison of power and might. The stronger wins, the weaker is eliminated. But the universal conflict is not about power. Even evil entities in the Bible recognized Jesus and knew that they cannot fight against Him. The conflict is about the original accusation: that God is unfair, unrighteous, unloving. That is why the cross was the ultimate victory. It was not necessary for the universe to know that God was strong. It was necessary that they know that God is love. This, the real good news, is that the battle was won because God showed love, facing death for His creation while we were still sinners. Hallelujah!

Thank you for this conversation! The Gospel is about relationship and not about seclusion, it’s about togetherness and not loneliness, it’s about others and not myself, and it’s about God being for us and not Him being against us! Praise God! Thank you Jesus!

9 minutes in and my mind is already blown away! Ty shared the historical context of Isaiah 52:7 about the bearer of good news. It reminded me of Mary washing the feet of Jesus and how these are the very same feet who proclaims to the world that "Your God reigns." He has victory over sin.

Love the scene, just simple lounge setting with open bibles.
Please keep it simple, biblical, don’t add church doctrines so that we can share this with friends who need Jesus and salvation.
Church does not save, Jesus does..
Thank you, I’m absolutely loving every minute of it and eagerly waiting for the next one!!!
Blessings from above for such a time as this.

Wow!!!

When shame is connected to the right story, it can actually do a good work. That’s because when we experience shame, we can say, “I’ve done something that took the smile away from the person next to me—but that doesn’t mean they’re abandoning me. It just means I need to do something to restore that disconnect and come back into relationship with the person who loves me.”

However, when shame is connected to a story that is a lie, we end up believing the lie—which says, “They’re never going to love you.”

This is why Adam and Eve hid in Genesis —and ever since then, we as humans keep hiding. But Jesus is seeking us despite our shame. He wants to restore us to Himself.🙏🏼
