Trauma-Informed Financial Education: My First Loan: Buying a Car

Our third session, “My First Loan - Buying A Car,” will examine the decision-making involved with purchasing a vehicle. Many young adults apply credit and debt knowledge for the first time when financing an auto loan. We will look at the state standards related to credit scores, how they affect loan opportunities, and information on accessing and improving credit scores.

Participants will have the opportunity to submit questions to guest presenters Kolby Goff of Wendle Motors in Spokane, who will share a former car salesman’s point-of-view on purchasing a vehicle; and Tierra Bonds from Take Charge Credit Counseling will offer her expertise on credit scores.
