it was scrap metal, they didn’t have time to make his concept art into an actual model for the movie, sl they used scrappers as a place holder

A: Scrapper’s size doesn’t fit, he’s larger than both Rampage and Mixmaster
B: He’s seen later on in the film, they just didn’t have Scrapmetal’s model made yet so they just shrunk Scrapper’s and put it in instead because they’re both yellow.

You see scrapper later in the movie and a reason there was an excavator was because it was originally gonna be scrapper who dies but it was changed to scrapmettle later but they weren’t able to change all the scenes but it definitely was scrapmettle since scalpel says “kill the little one” and scrapper is taller than rampage so it couldn’t of been scrapper

Scrapper didn't die either. They said 5 Decepticons going down, but 6 come up. One more than before. The parts of the previous movie's Decepticons were the ones used to rebuild Megatron. Mostly Brawl.

Scrap metal has treads and when Megatron was revived he had treads as legs and scrapper doesn't have treads
