Kindergarten Instrument Exploration Fun

Our little kindergarten friend Yuchen has once again invited his classmates to join him in his music making. We learned to sign along to one of his piano pieces and then added instruments to accompany him. We also analyzed the melody together as a class and discovered its elemental form- aaba. Great job, K-208!
This is a great example of how empowering music can be for a child. I hope this little peek into our music making will inspire other teachers to take time to let students share their talents with their classmates and find ways to work those abilities into their curriculum- whether you planned for it, or not. ;)
