You must know the bible. A lot of us depend on the church and preacher ito of bible knowledge. If you know the bible, then you are able to see the red flags in the church based on your bible knowledge. Never give your mind and soul to the church but give your mind and soul to Christ. In that way, whatever flaws are displayed by the church and preacher will not make you question your faith.

Very true pastor, eishh I once had such a pastor, I would even visit him for a day, question him about my relationship, sexual challenges, and he even mentored me in fitness career now. He was around 60s and I was around 18 -19, but to the I am the great guy and lead with examples because of him. May his soul rest in peace.

Hi, there's something we need to understand and differentiate as well.
A Pastor who is really called by the Lord gets His message from Him. Most of which he has to learn and accept as is. Now when you'll try to reason spiritual things as the physical, you'll always fail.
John 2, Jesus turns water 💧 to wine 🍷. He just said pour water into those six containers and after that He says take some to the master of the banquet. Now how do you reason such a thing out. If the one who is instructed to take the water to the Mc questions this, nothing will be achieved. It is called faith bcos you cannot reason it with or understand it with your mind.
If you'll go to church and expect to understand everything that is done or said there then you need a school not a church.

In church you walk by faith not by your sensory perception. If you go sick and try to understand how you will be healed then you need to go to a doctor, not church ❤

No one person is the embodiment of all knowledge in any field including the scriptures... My revelation of scriptures does not necessarily translate to revelation to those I share with... It becomes a teaching which needs questions to understand... Even those who are not pastors as they search the scriptures they receive revelation... But anything that is not understood may not be believed... Questions provoke answers and answers bring understanding which develops faith... Everything must align with scriptures

I agree with this, always ask yourself if you can question authority. You can see how easily you find yourself in a cult. HOWEVER, it's easier to say about churches than it is to say about science. Science requires blind allegiance too so do governments. In no way am I saying we should not question Christianity.
