I had to watch this twice because the first time your calm relaxing tone had me napping with my eyes open. Im gonna play this for my grandbaby when he won't stop crying. Im not saying your video was boring so please don't think that. I mean this in the nicest way possible. Thank you!!

I would have liked to see the dried result so I could just how stiff this recipe can make things.

I have store bought stiffener but never knew corn starch does the same thing. I’ve made white doilies into flowers and attached them to dowels wrapped in green floral tape and put into a vase. Wish you would have shown them reshaped, dried and staged so everyone can see the final product and your talents. But I can also hear from your voice that you may be afflicted with “craft overdose” and boy, do I get that. Take care and thanks for your efforts.😊

This just showed up today, so I think I'll be back and watch a few more of your videos. I haven't tried stiffening fabric for crafts yet, but it looks like a fun project to try out. I do like the butterflies - I have an old quilt that was falling apart, and I've been using sections of it for other crafts.

Lisa, thank you for sharing your recipe, wanted to try starch some old doilies and never knew the ratio. Love the butterflies.

people have been doing this to lace for a hundred years and it has lasted perfect. They often crocheted cup an saucer then stiffened it.

Thank you Lisa, a whole lot cheaper this way. You made a video the other day making candles ornaments, you used a quilt for the flames, any suggestions if we don’t have a quilt, would regular fabric stiffened keep its shape or should I sew some batting in my flames?

Thanks for sharing. Easy enough...I was making it more complicated, in my mind, then it was 😂😂😂

Thank you for the recipe. We do need to see the finished product which was not shown. I won't take the time to do this unless I know what it looks like after it has finished drying.

I've just recently discovered your channel and had to subscribe!
I've enjoyed each video I've watched, especially the ones on shabby chic decor.
I'd never heard of it and almost cried when I thought of all the things I threw away that I could be using now!
Question: I really want to make my own starch, since Argo is not easy to find and I'm out of cornstarch, so have you ever made fabric starch with flour?
If so, is the he recipe the same?
I'm headed over to watch your sc bird house video.
Again, thank you for sharing your time, talents, and soothing voice.
May the Lord God bless you and your family. ✌️♥️🙏
