I recently got one of the trial plan SIMs and it actually gave me 250mb of data, 250 minutes, and 250 texts according to the Mint Mobile app despite the packaging mentioning the 100mb limit.

Back in September I convinced my Mom to switch to Mint Mobile, and when she called AT&T telling them why she switched, the operator was speechless. Now AT&T keeps emailing her. I said to her, "BLOCK THEM!"
My Mom spent $245 when we first started on AT&T even though we brought our own phones. We're still confused why it was so expensive. Our monthly service for the both of us was $132. This was back in June 2019.
I was able to jump ship out of the plan back in August 2019.

Great review as always Stetson. I have an important question not clarified on the Mint Mobile website. They say that the "Unlimited" plan includes only 5GB Mobile Hotspot. They do not clarify whether USB tethering allows the full fast 35GB LTE data. As you must know, the Google Fi "Unlimited" plan allows the full 22GB via USB tethering or hotspot, not just a small fraction of it. Thank you Stetson.
