Record 19 People in Space! Soyuz MS-26 Launch & Docking

With the arrival in orbit of the Soyuz MS-26 three-member crew, there were a record 19 people in space!

Nine people were already aboard the International Space Station, there were three taikonauts on the Chinese Space Station, Tiangong, and there was a crew of four aboard the Polaris Dawn private mission on a SpaceX Crew Dragon.

Edited NASA TV footage of the launch and docking on September 11, 2024 of the Russian Space Agency (RSA) Soyuz MS-26 (Союз MC-26) spacecraft. The Soyuz crew of Roscosmos cosmonauts Aleksey Ovchinin and Ivan Vagner, and NASA astronaut Don Petit arrived after a two-orbit, three-hour trip to the International Space Station (ISS) for an automated docking to the Rassvet (Рассвет) module.

The time-lapse of the docking is at 10 times actual speed.
