I actually understood some of this. Thank you. I have a very small business and I only have 1 client and will only ever have the one client. In the US I'm considered a sole proprietor. I mainly concerned with tracking income and expenses with categories to present to my tax preparer at tax time. Your spreadsheet looks amazing and well thought out.

I'm setting up a charitable trust and have one question ... could you please add a sales tax accounting capability to your accounts system?

A lot of small businesses especially those with simple payroll will benefit from this simplified app. I will be interested in a version with no limit on entries so I can import old records for longitudinal study. CSV import should be simple but if an import destroys cells with formulas may be a problem.
There is little joy in reinventing the wheel so it would be great to know when a commercial version will appear?

Dear Mr. Wong. Thank you very much for developing an Excel-based accounting software that is practical and giving it away for free for the benefits of others, myself included. I appreciate it very much. I live in Europe and am opening a micro business, and after covid not many people have money and things are so expensive that it is crucial to keep track of income and expenses. This is really great. I don't know accounting at all and I hope your Excel software will be able to help me keep the books. I am sure it will. I also hope to learn accounting basics like you stated and perhaps move on to other software. I will learn to use it and give you feedback if there are any. Thank you very much.

It looks great to me! My CPA is yelling at me to NOT get QUICKBOOKS, MYOB or ZERO. She advocates EXCEL but I no idea of where to start. You solved that problem for me. Look forward to using it to get started!
