In Dune Part 1 Mohiam says "Like sifting sand through a screen we sift people" (to create the Kwisatz Haderach. The scene shot from above of Paul moving through the Freman crowd is a visual reference to that line as it resembles sand being sifted and it is Paul parting the way because he IS the Kwisatz Haderach.

Holy fuck yes. They thought he was a demon come in from the desert. The still aren't sure whether or not its true. It is also such great shorthand - he dismissed the worm and walks calmly - character growth. He is a master of the desert. But every Fremen was ready to fight him, so fucking cool.

Seeing this in the cinema was incredible. Zimmer gave 0 fucks as usual and ensured eargasm again.

It was at this moment, Paul and the Fremen were finally ready to take on the Sardaukar. It was at this moment they had finally surpassed even the Sardaukar’s capabilities.

This scene, like the whole movie, on IMAX, felt so powerfull. You could feel the surprise and devotion of the Fremen outside.
