WTF Were The Kaminoans Doing at the Cloning Facility on Bora Vio & Why'd They Abandon It | Bad Batch

The 9th episode of Star Wars: The Bad Batch has dropped and, wow was it absolutely fantastic. During the episode, we saw the Duros Bounty Hunter, Cad Bane, travel to Bora Vio to rendezvous with the Kaminoan Taun We so as to exchange Omega for a boat load of credits. Bora Vio hosted a Kaminoan facility that was abandoned by the time of the Galactic Empire. The Kaminoans utilized the facility on Bora Vio as a rendezvous for the bounty hunter Cad Bane to deliver the clone Omega to Taun We. However, fellow bounty hunter Fennec Shand was sent by the Kaminoan Nala Se to rescue Omega and prevent her from being handed over to Taun We. Omega was able to escape captivity, and as Shand fought Bane, she transmitted a signal from the facility and escaped on a flight pod. The former clone commando unit known as the Bad Batch, with whom Omega had been traveling, picked up the signal and rescued her from Bora Vio in their starship, Havoc Marauder. The episode saw the return of Cad Bane and Fennec, while also shedding light on Omega. When Bane and Omega arrived on Bora Vio, however, they surprisingly came upon an apparent Kaminoan cloning facility that had been left in disrepair and had been abandoned for some time. To make things even more eerie, after the bounty hunter Fennec Shand showed up and tried to steal Omega from Bane, the young clone was able to break free before finding a room that housed multiple tubes filled with clones. This begs the question-why did the Kaminoans abandon this facility? And, what were they doing on Bora Vio before they abandoned it? What role did Lama Su play in this cloning facility on Bora Vio? Did Lama Su have a hand in the Bora Vio cloning facility being abandoned? Also, Did Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine contract Lama Su and the Kaminoans? Episode 9 also discussed what makes Omega a significant clone, and we also saw some hints about what the Kaminoans might have planned and why they need Omega. Lama Su and Nala Se both have different agendas, but it appears that Lama Su wants Omega for her genetic material. The series follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War. Members of Bad Batch — a unique squad of clones who vary genetically from their brothers in the Clone Army — each possess a singular exceptional skill, which makes them extraordinarily effective soldiers and a formidable crew. In the post-Clone War era, they will take on daring mercenary missions as they struggle to stay afloat and find new purpose. The Bad Batch will be going head to head with Fennec Shand, Tarkin, the Empire, and we'll also got to see Captain Rex and possibly other clones make an appearance as well. Additionally, the interesting and intriguing clone, Omega, has joined the Bad Batch, and we're still not 100% sure just how significant and important she will be in the series. Omega and the Bad Batch recent traveled to Saleucami to meet up with the clone deserter, Cut Lawquane, and his family. What happened on Bora Vio? What were the Kaminoans doing on Bora Vio? And why did the Kaminoans abandon their facility on Bora Vio? Are they planning on creating additional force-sensitive clones? Will they need Omega for this?

Which characters could make an appearance in the his brand new Disney+ series? What's Omega's significance? What

Check out our video on whether or not Crosshair will rejoin The Bad Batch:

And our video discussing Cad Bane's story:

The Bad Batch is one of the many series discussed by Kathleen Kennedy and Lucasfilm at Disney Investor Day that I'm SUPER excited about, along with Lando, Cassian Andor and the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. Hopefully, Star Wars fans will get some new announcements and news dropped from LucasFilm and Disney on Star Wars Day, in addition to the premier of Star Wars: The Bad Batch. Maybe we'll get to some new details on Disney+ series' that are still come. Fans are still waiting for more details to come regarding The Book of Boba Fett and season 3 of The Mandalorian. Hopefully, Star Wars fans can expect more news to come regarding Star Wars: Ahsoka and Star Wars: Visions. It'd be dope if we also got some info on what Dave Filoni, Jon Favreau, and Robert Rodriguez are working on behind the scenes.

What a time to be a Star Wars fan!

IF Omega is Force-Sensitive most likely Omega was selected by the Force for some reason unbeknownst to us as of right now…I’m hoping she’s strong enough to hide her presence from Sidious…but make it known to Ahsoka.

Honestly... the clones could totally make a return with bora vio being introduced... I know it won't happen but it'd be nice if Boba fett made an army for himself in honor of his Dad.

It was confirmed that she’s not Force-Sensitive, just a Generation 1 clone with the exact same DNA as Boba/Jango Fett, bit just female.

Dr.cylo because he didn't have force sensitivity he could easily transfer from body to body without side effects. If vader hadn't stopped him he could have easily outlived the empire.

Fortunately the Empire doesn't know about this otherwise they would have Bombed it to Kingdom Come, just like Mainland (or Sea) Tipoca City.

Thats actually false lord Sidius wasn't the one who planned on the clones that was lord Plagueis who thought about making an army of sith but then decided that it would be better to make an army for the jedi and create a war that will weaken the jedi and then use the clones to finish them off but the palpatine killed plagueis just cause he got drunk and he thought that would be the best time to kill his master then he took over his plans
