Feels like EA/Ubisoft when they put ads and the Micro transaction shop in the game menu but worse.

Ah the glorious low effort Temu Discord, for a generous $8 a month.

You'll get a reminder at the beginning of every game: "Press C to start your Nintendo Online membership."

For those saying what’s the big deal about the C button since you have to pay for subscription to access online services anyway … well correct me if I’m wrong but Xbox and PlayStation both don’t charge you for using their chat features when it comes to free to play multiplayer/co-op games … meaning you don’t have to have a subscription to play and use all the features of those free to play games.
Nintendo on the other hand will start charging to use the C/chat features regardless after the 2026 dateline whether it’s a free to play game or not.
I think that right there will make a big difference for many.

Why would they put Hall effect when they can charge you 90 dollars for a new one everytime, Nintendo are the greediest game company, vote with your wallet people.

It's hilarious watching so many Nintendo fanboys trying to defend all this bs surrounding the Switch 2. Ridiculous. Nintendo is straight up nickel and diming consumers

EVENTUALLY, after the trial period is over, you'll have to pay to use GameChat, meaning that you will have to have the Nintendo Switch Online service. However, you would need to have that service to play online with your friends anyways last I checked, so it's really a non-issue. There's other more legitimate issues to gripe about concerning the Switch 2 without harping on that point.

Yes, but don't forget you also have to pay electricity bills for the power button to work.

Nintendo has turned into the most greedy company, Paywalling a button, expensive overpriced games and console, packin style game a paid game, paid upgrade performance patches for switch games.... Mario Kart world at 80 and I bet there will be DLC out of it's rear end for new courses and such

As for stick drift: for the Switch I just used a Magic-NS, with it, you can just plug in whatever your favorite controller is no matter which console you got it from.

That's a instant NO BUY for me. I had 3 Switches, which I all sold later, all sticks had drifts, I replaced 5 sticks, and on the Switch Lite it was a nightmare. No thanks Nintendo, I'm out.

Nintendo Switch Online: Game Chat (c button)will require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to function. Will not cost extra

First time I won't be buying the next nintendo console, and I've had them all. $80 for a game is excessive. $5-$10 increase would have been more reasonable, but $20 more?! F**k that sh*t.

Bye nintendo, no longer a supporter and hope everyone emulates your games for free.
