The reason why Morty has a whip in the decoys episode is because the episode where they had the head crabs on themselves and they suited up to rescue Summer, he asked Rick to get him a whip for next time

Morty is such a great character. Happy that he finally came to the game. He has some very good abilities which are also great references to many episode moments which I really like. He is in general a very strong character. Definitely my favourite!!!

I believe the snakes coming out of Morty's gun are actually a reference to that episode when Rick meets the president and uses that blaster to "turn people into snakes" which actually just killed them and released snakes from a little ankle dispenser. But good video
