The Brembo stuff just feels better than everything else. They're strong, smooth, good feedback, etc. Nissan and Braktec will stop the bike, but they just don't compare to the feel of Brembo.

Wow there is no way I could risk death on such a narrow trail with such a sharp and long drop off. It’s so easy to make a small correction at the wrong time and fall to the side. Hope to see more videos but if they stop I can probably guess why lol.

Whoa yeah that would be one heck of a bike drop...only way a bike would be coming out of there is 1 part at a time!!

Why don’t you throw a “Super Sprox 49 tooth” on the rear bro……. You will be able to dump that clutch and let the engine brake do what it’s supposed to do. Dang man…. Help yourself out! Unreal that you held your clutch in for so long on that downhill decent @ 2:50! That is the first aftermarket item on my 300 XC-W. Give it a try. Save the Brembo’s! I promise you will thank me and get more longevity out of your front pads. Cheers to a great video though! 🍻

At 00:58, I don't see a bunch of sponge on the muffler. Does you bike run that clean? Or did you just wipe it off before the picture? In one tank of gas, my stock '24 250 XC-W goes from a cleaned off can to oil running all the way down to the front of the can and dripping onto the swing arm. I am wondering if this is normal on other '24 TBI oil injected bikes?

That’s quite the downhill my friend! Dude, I have to say I am super stoked about this sweepstakes. My friends and I all wear our bike T-shirt with the DNA chain on the back with great pride. Anyway, good to see you riding again hopefully when you’re up in Idaho, I may bump into you on the trail. Figuratively lol

I noticed the handlebars are wide and straight. I’m new to modern dirt bikes. My current one feels really loose up front and has wide straight handlebars. My last bike was an 1995 y250 with a slight inward bend which always felt completely easy to turn. My new bike just feels loose. When I turn it feels like it’s delayed or loose. The issue is when I’m on a narrow or rutted trail that’s needs micro adjustments I might not be fast enough and get caught on the side resulting in a fall.

Can someone explain why wide/straight handlebars would be beneficial for a trail bike over ones with a slight inward bend. Would it be beneficial to switch to a MX handlebar?

Are wide straight handlebars for standing over sitting? When I stand it feels even looser. I know that some of this could be front suspension settings but it feels more like a handlebar thing. I’ve been sitting because it feels like I have a bit more control.

Hey Kyle wonder what your thoughts of KTM moving all their manufacturing to China in the near future. All KTMs will be Chinese made.
