Rust: How to RCON | + Gameservers RCON guide

This video goes through a very useful tool for remotely accessing console for your Rust server. You will need something like this if you're going to host with Gameservers or another company, or you want someone else to connect to your computer and run commands in the console. Hence: RCON (Remote Console)

Hi Can you do this for servers run from steam cmd? I'm really confused as to how to get RCON connected to my server and I can't seem to find anything that has fixed my issues online - all I can see are articles and videos helping people who rent servers from server hosters, where everything is set out for them.

Hi my description won’t stay no matter what I try. If I enter server.description “blah blah” in the game server config file the server won’t show up on the list.
